ABODE TRANSFER
Abode is situated right in the heart of Colaba – Mumbai’s most popular tourist and business district. We are a 5 minute walk from the famous Gateway of India or Taj Palace Hotel. Taxi drivers will know both. Even closer landmarks are the Regal Cinema or the iconic Café Mondegar. Mumbai doesn’t have great public transport links so the only way to get in and out of the airport is by car.
AIRPORT PICK UP
Arrive in style by having one of our lovely female drivers pick you up – just drop us a line with your flight/train details. Depending on the time of day, it can take between 30 mins to 90 mins to drive from the domestic or international airport.
GETTING TO ABODE
TAXI FROM THE AIRPORT
If you want to take a taxi yourself, it will cost approximately 800 rupees and take up to 90 mins depending on time of day. To ensure a safe and pleasant trip, please only take one from the prepaid counters in the Arrivals hall.
TRAIN TO CST/CHURCHGATE
If you’re arriving by train from somewhere else in India, it’s likely you will come to the beautiful Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (or ‘Victoria Terminus’, or ‘CST’) or to Churchgate. A black and yellow cab from outside any of these stations will take 5 minutes to reach our luxury boutique hotel in Colaba. Or tell us when you arrive and we’ll send a car to Victoria Station or Churchgate.
